Golden Meadows Intro to Film

Students will learn the basics of film making by reviewing terminology of the industry, by practicing various recording techniques, editing the footage recorded on their smart devices into a final production, by acting in group projects to create a final production, as well as reviewing the student films in class.

IMPORTANT: Smartphone or laptop devices required for this course.

The Den
Team Sports

This course is designed to give students the opportunity to learn physical activity through a planned physical education (GYM) program.

 

Students will learn the rules of various sports while also learning to demonstrate fundamental loco-motor, non-loco-motor skills, as well as various aspects to leadership and team building.

 

Students will learn to manipulate motion, fitness, and objects with purposeful movement, all while they are learning the playground rules and safety for themselves and others.

 

This physical education course is designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes, which are essential to engaging in lifelong physical activity. 

 

Class members are required to bring a water bottle, dry gym shoes, appropriate workout clothing that allows movement, and any homework assigned.

 

For students with physical limitations, modifications will be made accordingly. 

We offer two Class Day options for enrollment:
 

K-5th - Mondays - 11:00am - 12:00pm 

6th-12th - Mondays - 10:00am - 11:00am 

K-5th - Tuesdays - 11:00am - 12:00pm 
6th-12th - Tuesdays - 10:00am - 11:00am 

Classes will begin in August.

Urban Air Trampoline Team Leadership

This course is designed to give students the opportunity to learn physical activity through a planned trampoline education program.

 

Students will learn to have fun while they perform a variety of fundamental group activities held within the park.  

Modalities include, but are not limited to Warrior Course Challenge, Battle Beam Competitions, Foam Pit Performances, Rock Wall Races, and Dodge Ball Tournaments.

This class will  equip students with levels of motor skills that enable safe, satisfying participation in lifelong activities. This will be achieved with a physical fitness warm up, cool down, trampoline and non trampoline games or competitions. 

Class members are required to bring a water bottle, appropriate workout clothing that allows movement (NO loose clothing), and any homework assigned.

 

Socks are required for this course.
